My stake recently put on its own women's 5k/10k Run Walk at Shoreline Park. I talked my mom and my coworker, Nicolette, into joining me though they decided to walk the 5k, not run the 10k with me.
We had a blast and despite this being my longest run in my Vibrams, I did surprisingly. I felt every piece of gravel and every rock and twig and spots of Shoreline. I was more sore afterwards than I have ever been which was so weird but that's just my feet getting used to the Vibrams.
Here are some pics of the event:

| Yes, I was excited to get this over...obviously. Plus you know my competitive spirit just had to be the first one out. |

| Love the drama of this shot. Reminds me of the Pioneer Children song where they walked... and walked... and walked... and walked. |

That was so much fun! We should do one for our family reunion. Thanks Keri! Mom
